Gripping Power, Inc. (GPI) was founded in 2002 through the acquistion
of Applied
Energy Technologies, Inc. (founded in 1993) by a private investment group,
headed
by John F. Kohls (CEO). The new company focuses its research and
development
activities on new and innovative applications of electrostatic technologies
and develops
these technologies into commercially successful products and services. The
company
supplies the semiconductor industry with electrostatic chucks, high-voltage
power
supplies and control system solutions.
With systems installed in the United States, Canada, Europe and Japan, we
continue
to develop both domestic and international markets for our products. Our
customers
include Angstron Systems, IBM, Novellus Systems, Unaxis USA, Trion
Technology,
Tokyo Electron and ULVAC Technologies.
NEEDS/INTERESTS:
We continue to seek additional opportunities in the semiconductor equipment
markets.
We are also interested in developing equipment to support industrial and
pharmaceutical
applications for electrostatic technologies.
